South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands is a British Overseas Territory. It is administered by a commissioner in the Falkland Islands.
In an emergency, the Government Officer can provide basic assistance but they and the Commissioner’s Office cannot issue replacement passports.

Contact your travel provider and your insurer if you are involved in a serious incident or emergency abroad. They will tell you if they can help and what you need to do.
